                | Objective To quantitatively evaluate the development of fetal cerebellar vermis with three-dimensional ultrasonography volume contrast imaging in the C plane (VCI-C). Methods A total of 380 eligible pregnant women with 21~34 wks gestation were enrolled. The parameters AP, CC, C and MSA of the fetal cerebellar vermis were measured with 3-D ultrasonography VCI-C. Results The successful rate of measurement of fetal cerebellar vermis was 95.79% . AP, CC, C and MSA were correlated with gestational age (r=0.86, 0.88, 0.91, 0.89, respectively, all P<0.05), which were significantly correlated with biparietal diameter, head circumference and transverse cerebellar diameter of fetus. Taking gestational age as independent variables, AP and CC as dependent variables, there was a linear relationship between gestational age and AP, CC (R2 = 0.89, 0.92, P<0.05). Conclusion Three-dimensional ultrasonography VCI-C can accurately evaluate the cerebellar vermis develop- ment, it would bea standard prenatal examination for evaluation of the cerebellar vermis development. |
