		     | 目的研究中、重度慢性牙周炎非手术治疗中联合应用Nd:YAG水激光的短期疗效。方法对19例中、重度慢性牙周炎患者的380颗患牙采用单盲、随机化左右半口对照实验,实验侧组先行龈下刮治和根面平整(SRP)治疗,再应用Nd:YAG水激光进行牙周袋内治疗,对照侧组仅行SRP治疗。治疗后6、12周,比较两组牙周探诊深度(PPD)、出血指数(BI)及菌斑指数(PI)的变化。结果治疗后6、12周,与治疗前相比,两组PPD、BI及PI均有明显改善(均P<0.05);而同期两组间PPD、BI及PI比较均无统计学差异(均P>0.05)。结论短期临床疗效评价发现,联合应用Nd:YAG水激光对中、重度慢性牙周炎非手术治疗并无明确的辅助作用。 |

                | Objective  To assess short-term efficacy of water-cooled Nd:YAG laser combined with non-surgical therapy for moderate/severe chronic periodontitis. Methods   Nineteen patients   (380 teeth) with moderate-to-severe periodontitis were included in this single blind, randomized and controlled study with a split-mouth comparison design. In each patients, one side received scaling and root planning (SRP) alone (control group) and other side received SRP followed by Nd:YAG laser therapy (study group). Probing pocket depth (PPD), bleeding on probing (BI), and plaque index (PI) were measured at baseline and 6 and 12 wks after treatment. Results Compared with baseline levels, the clinical parameters at 6 and 12 wks after treatment were significantly improved both in both groups, there was no significant difference between study group and control group. Conclu- sion This short-term clinical study showed that Nd:YAG laser did not have adjunctive effect on non-surgical treatment for mod- erate/severe chronic periodontitis. |
