Abstract: |
Objective: To investigatemono-Carboxylate transporters 1 and Glucose transporter 1 ,Glut-1 in the clinical significance of the expression in human colorectal cancer in the development and progression of cancer.
Methods: Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Glut-1 protein and MCT1 protein in rectal tissues of 75 rectal cancer patients and 32 controls.
Results: In the rectum of the control group, the expression of Glut-1 protein was detected in one case, accounting for 3.13%. In the rectal cancer group, positive expression of 59 Glut-1 protein was detected, accounting for 78.67%, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05); The positive expression rate of Glut-1 protein was related to rectal cancer TNM staging and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05); in the control group rectal tissue MCT1 protein positive expression rate was lower 6.25%, and rectal cancer tissue MCT1 The protein expression rate was 62.67%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The expression of MCT1 protein was correlated with TNM staging of colorectal cancer and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05); in 72 cases of rectal cancer tissue, Glut-1 There was a significant positive correlation between the positive rate of protein and MCT1 protein expression (r=0.338, P<0.05). Further analysis found that the expression levels of both proteins were linearly correlated in rectal cancer tissue (r=0.639, P<0.05).
Conclusion: The expression level of MCT1 and GLUT-1 protein shows significant positive correlation in the tissues of patients with colorectal cancer, suggesting that both of them may have a certain synergistic effect in the course of the disease and develop the physiological function, which provides experimental support and theoretical basis for the further clinical treatment of colorectal cancer patients.
