| This paper aims to explore the application of the Phoenix score in the assessment of pediatric sepsis and septic shock, evaluated in conjunction with the International Consensus Standards of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Through a systematic analysis, the study provides a detailed discussion of the various components of the Phoenix score and assesses its effectiveness and applicability in clinical practice. The results indicate that the Phoenix score demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity in the early identification and assessment of pediatric sepsis and septic shock, serving as a valuable reference tool for clinicians. Additionally, the paper highlights the limitations of this scoring system, recommending its use in combination with other diagnostic tools in different clinical settings to enhance diagnostic accuracy. |
