                | Objective To investigate the effect of extract of ginkgo bibola leaves (Egb) on coagulation status in rabbits with anticoagulant. Methods Forty eight rabbits were divided randomly into two groups (n=24 in each group). Warfarin was given in group 1 to achieve 1.8~3.7 times INR of normal rabbits; and given in group 2 to achieve3.7~6.0 times INR. Each group was further divided into 4 subgroups with 6 animals in each, including three Egb groups and one control group. Intravenous infusion of 0.3ml/kg NS was given to the rabbits in control group, and 0.3ml/kg, 1.5ml/kg, 3ml/kg Egb761 were given to the rabbits in three Egb groups for 7 days, respectively. After 1.5 h of injection on d7, the blood samples were collected, and PLT, PT, APTT, PF3aT were examined. Results Egb761 had no effect on PLT, PT, APTT of anticoagulant rabbits(P >0.05); while it affected PF3aT levels (P<0.05), the effect was more marked in group 1 than that in group 2. Conclusion Injection of ginkgo bibola leaves extracts may affect anticoagulation therapy of warfarin in rabbits. |
